Who is Joshua Ferguson of GWL
In 2014, Joshua embarked on a journey with the Ontario Public Service as a law enforcement officer within Correctional Services. Throughout his career in law enforcement, he consistently excelled in crisis management and leadership positions serving a wide range of ranks within the organization from front line to senior management. As a Tactical Team Member, Suicide Awareness Instructor, Critical Incident Stress Management Peer, and Defensive Tactics Instructor, Joshua demonstrated exceptional leadership and coaching skills. Serving as a leader for multiple high-performance teams, Joshua earned multiple letters of commendation for his outstanding crisis management and leadership abilities. Joshua currently holds the position of Strategic Advisor for a Leadership Division within the Ontario Public Service and holds a position with the Public Speaking Bureau.
Before establishing Garden Warrior Leadership, Joshua spent a decade in project management at a family-owned large format printing company, supporting emerging entrepreneurs in building their brands. His skills in strategic planning, team development, and brand building have made him an invaluable resource for countless businesses.

Joshua Ferguson is the founder and owner of Garden Warrior Leadership, a coaching and leadership development consultancy firm dedicated to nurturing future and current coaches and leaders within our most vital communities. With over 20 years of coaching experience in both community and professional settings, Joshua brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his clients.
Joshua has been actively involved in coaching youth sports in the community since the age of 19 when he took his first official community coaching job as the head coach of a youth flag football team. He has coached youth and high school football, encompassing a role as a head high school football coach, as well as martial arts disciplines including boxing, self-defense, and Jiu Jitsu. Currently, he serves as the head boxing instructor at Garden Warrior Leaderships Academy and boasts experience coaching Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts at both community, amature and professional levels. Joshua believes in utilizing the lessons and nurturing environment provided by martial arts to shape and develop future leaders within personal, community, and professional landscapes.
